Tactus LPs | 1 to 0 of 0 results
Tactus was founded in March 1986, initially more out of the passion of its founder, Serafino Rossi, than for entrepreneurial reasons. From the start, the artistic direction was aimed towards raising the profile of Renaissance and Baroque Italian composers, who were stylistic precursors and forerunners subsequent eras around Europe and beyond. The repertoire of Tactus, having started with a focus on the performance practice of early music, expanded into the following centuries, up to contemporary music, maintaining the same criteria for the re-evaluation of the enormous Italian musical heritage still to be discovered. The development of their repertoire, always with a highly musicological approach, together with an eye for quality compositions, have helped to develop the Tactus catalogue into becoming a point of reference worldwide among specialists in the sector. Today, after nearly forty years, Tactus recordings are sold all over the world, and continue to enrich the catalogue with a large number of works that contribute to creating ever new pieces in the mosaic of Italian musical culture.

Use this page to search for more specific requirements. Any combination of criteria can be used.
We would recommend keeping your search as simple as possible - this will help in returning the maximum number of results.
The following tips may assist you in your search:
- Avoid using punctuation marks and spaces when searching for catalogue numbers - all of these are removed for ease of use.
- Try using just one word in each of the fields you use. For example, only type the surname of an artist rather than their whole name.
- The keyword box will search the entire database, including all extra information attached to a product. This is best used for very specific words, or for adding an extra word to narrow down your search results.
- The genre box is useful for wider searching, but is not recommended for specific searches, as not every product has been assigned a genre. Please note that concertos are included under Orchestral and that Chamber includes all small ensembles of two musicians or more.
